Please note that the mask mandate included in the COVID-19 Competition Modifications, Mask Mandates and National Events Updates has been updated as follows:

Face coverings must be two-layer cloth masks or surgical face coverings. Single-layer gaiters, bandannas, masks with vents and inserts that clip into the fencing mask and do not fully contact the athlete’s face are not permitted.

Tune in for Olympic fencing

There will be more Olympic fencing on American television this summer than at any Games in history with coverage of all three weapons and eight gold medal finals scheduled in NBC’s newly released television listings for the Rio Olympic Games.

With 24-hour coverage featuring every Olympic sport across 13 platforms, fencing is scheduled to air on at least three of NBC’s networks. Live streams of every round also will air daily.

Best of luck to all the Team USA athletes!
